한국뉴욕주립대학교는 2012년 3월 한국의 유일한 스마트시티인 송도에 세워진 최초의 미국 대학교입니다. 한국정부는 글로벌 교육을 제공하기 위해 뉴욕주립대학교 (SUNY)와 스토니브룩대학교 (Stony Brook University, SBU)에서 출범하여 미국 밖의 첫 캠퍼스로 인천글로벌캠퍼스를 설립하였습니다. 한국뉴욕주립대학교는 매년 꾸준히 교육 프로그램을 확장하고 있으며 현재 공학, 기술, 패션, 과학 등 다양한 학문 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다.

현재 한국뉴욕주립대학교는 스토니브룩대학교의 컴퓨터과학, 기계공학, 기술경영학, 응용수학통계학 그리고 경영학의 학부와 대학원 학위 프로그램을 제공하고 있으며 패션기술대학교의 패션디자인학, 패션경영학의 준학사 과정을 제공하고 있습니다. 한국뉴욕주립대학교의 모든 수업은 미국 홈캠퍼스 교육과정과 동일하게 진행되며 학생들에게 미국과 동일한 수준의 교육을 보장하기 위해 미국 홈캠퍼스에서도 공부할 기회를 제공합니다. 학위 수여 시, 모든 학생은 미국 홈캠퍼스의 학위를 받게 됩니다.

SUNY Korea

SUNY Korea was established in March 2012 as the first American university in Korea’s only smart city, Songdo. As the first branch of Stony Brook University built outside of the United States, it represents a groundbreaking effort to provide world-class education across the globe. Every year, SUNY Korea continues to expand its program offerings in a variety of academic fields that include engineering, fashion, science, business, and more.

Currently, SUNY Korea is offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Technological Systems Management, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, and Business Management from Stony Brook University (SBU). We also offer Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management through the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Students in these programs have the opportunity to take courses in Korea and the U.S. At both locations, students can expect the same high-quality curricula and faculty that have become a hallmark of the State University of New York system.

韩国纽约州立大学于2012年3月在韩国唯一的智能城市-松岛顺利启用。这是第一所在韩国颁发美国学士、硕士和博士学位的全日制大学。为提供国际化教育，韩国政府与纽约州立大学系统(SUNY)及石溪大学Stony Brook University (SBU)共同努力，在美国境外开设了首家国际分校。韩国纽约州立大学每年都在不断扩张教育项目，目前提供理工，科学，时装，工商管理等多种学科项目。

뉴욕시 최고의 공립기관 중 하나인 FIT는 디자인, 패션, 예술, 통신 그리고 경영 분야에 있어 국제적으로 인정받는 대학교입니다. FIT의 교육프로그램은 철저하고 융통성이 있으며 유일무이합니다. 그리고 경험적 학습 기회 제공, 산학협력관계에 대한 연구· 혁신, 기업가정신을 육성하는 강한 의지 등으로 잘 알려져 있습니다. 또 FIT는 패션산업에 즉각적 가치를 창출하는 훌륭한 일련의 실용적 기술을 가르치는 것으로 유명합니다.

Fashion Institute of Technology: FIT

FIT, one of New York City’s premier public institutions, is an internationally recognized college for design, fashion, art, communications, and business. It is known for its rigorous, unique, and adaptable academic programming, experiential learning opportunities, academic and industry partnerships, and commitment to research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. FIT is also famous for teaching a solid set of practical skills that hold immediate value in the fashion industry.

Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and many other alumni names show how relevant their program is to the world of fashion. Admitted students spend 2 years at SUNY Korea FIT to acquire an Associate in Applied Science(A.A.S.) degree. Bachelor of Science(B.S.) or Bachelor of Fine Arts(B.F.A.) degree programs are offered in either Milan, Italy or New York, USA.

가수 지누션의 션 (YG 엔터테인먼트)은 2015년 4월 한국 뉴욕 주립대학교 비전나눔대사로 위촉 되었습니다. 션은 그 동안 컴패션, 홀트아동복지회 등 여러 기관에서의 홍보대사로 활약하며 나눔 활동을 이어왔습니다. 션의 나눔에 대한 가치와 더 나은 세상을 만들어 가기 위한 히스토리 메이커 (History Maker)를 길러내는 한국뉴욕주립대의 교육 철학이 공감대를 이루었고 비전나눔대사 위촉으로 결실을 맺었습니다. 션은 레지던셜 컬리지 (RC)프로그램의 특별 강연자로 학생들과 소통하며 봉사와 나눔을 삶으로 실천하는 이야기를 통해 학생들에게 도전과 큰 감동을 주었습니다.

소향 Sohyang

소향 Sohyang가수 소향은 ‘나는 가수다, 복면가왕’ 등 다양한 매체를 통해 최고의 노래실력으로 대중에게 널리 알려졌습니다. 소향은 2017년 10월 한국뉴욕주립대학교 비전나눔대사로 위촉되어 레지던셜 컬리지 (RC)프로그램의 강연자로 Dream콘서트를 가졌습니다. 소향은 자신이 품었던 ‘꿈 이야기’를 나누며 학생들에게 꿈을 가지고 그 꿈에 도전할 수 있도록 격려했습니다. 특히 소향은 FIT 개교 행사에도 참석해 한국뉴욕주립대의 두번째 가족이 된 FIT의 한국 개교를 축하하는 무대를 통해 참석자들에게 큰 호응을 얻었습니다.

The Ambassadors for Shared Prosperity of SUNY Korea are who demonstrate leadership in their professions and serve as a positive role model by helping others through their work. Our ambassadors lend their voices, time and talent to help us empower SUNY Korea students to be "History Makers" who change the world.

Sean

Sean, an artist from YG Entertainment and a member of hip-hop duo “Jinusean,” was appointed as the Ambassador for Shared Prosperity of SUNY Korea in 2015. Sean was already involved in various volunteering activities as the Ambassador of Compassion Korea and HOLT Korea. In his journey of serving others, he found good company in SUNY Korea, which upholds an educational philosophy of cultivating students to become “History Makers” and helping others to make a better world. He gave a special lecture, a testimony of his life of serving others, Which challenged and inspired others during the Residential College(RC) program.

Sohyang

Sohyang, the Ambassador for Shared Prosperity of SUNY Korea, is widely known to the public For her best talent through various media shows such as "I am the Singer” and “The King of Masked Singers.” Sohyang was appointed as the Ambassador for Shared Prosperity of SUNY Korea in 2017. She was invited to SUNY Korea’s Dream Concert as a lecturer during the Residential College (RC) program. She shared the story of her dream and encouraged students to challenge and continue their dreams. "I am delighted to be the second Ambassador for Shared Prosperity of SUNY Korea," She said. "Through my talent, I will become the messenger to share the vision and values of SUNY Korea."

HIP-HOP组合Jinusean的Sean(YG Entertainment)于2015年4月被委任为韩国纽约州立大学的梦想分享大使。Sean在Compassion、Holt福祉会等多个机构担任宣传大使并进行志愿者活动。韩国纽约州立大学的教育理念是培养出能够创造更美好世界的历史性人物，这与Sean的服务精神形成了共识。Sean曾被邀请成为Residential College的特邀嘉宾，与学生们分享了他服务他人的人生理念，给学生们带来了精神上的震撼。

Sohyang

歌手SoHyang通过我是歌手，蒙面歌王等音乐真人秀节目，以近乎完美的歌唱实力被人们熟知。SoHyang于2017年10月被委任为韩国纽约州立大学的梦想分享大使，并作为Residential College的特邀嘉宾为学生们带来了Dream音乐会，与学生们分享了她的梦想并鼓励学生们要怀揣梦想不要放弃。此外，SoHyang参加了FIT的建校典礼，并带来特别舞台来祝贺FIT正式成为韩国纽约州立大学家族的一员。
